Mari’s interest in the Soil Conservation District began with her participation in the Envirothon program in high school. After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, she began working at the District as a soil conservationist, where her roles include reviewing erosion and sediment control plans, environmental site design plans, and forest harvest plans, and working with the Envirothon program.
