Chris Brown is the District Manager for the Cecil Soil Conservation District, where he works with farmers, landowners, and conservation partners to advance soil health, water quality, and sustainable agricultural practices. Chris began his career with the District as a Conservation Technician before advancing to Soil Conservationist and ultimately District Manager. He holds a B.S. in Geo-Environmental Science from Shippensburg University and has more than 20 years of conservation experience. Chris provides a local perspective on the connection between agriculture, natural resource conservation, and the health of the Chesapeake Bay, fostering collaboration among producers, conservation organizations, and community stakeholders.
In Chris’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kayce, and their two children.
