2025 MASCD Summer Meeting in Flintstone, Maryland Cecil Soil Conservation District is recognized.

At the 2025 Maryland Association of Soil Conservation Districts (MASCD) Summer Meeting, held in Flintstone, Maryland, at Rocky Gap Resort, the Cecil Soil Conservation District was honored as the Conservation Education District of the Year. This recognition marks the fourth consecutive year the district has received this prestigious award, highlighting its continued leadership in conservation education, community outreach, and environmental stewardship. Through its commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, protecting natural resources, and engaging residents of all ages, the district continues to make a meaningful impact across Cecil County. The dedication of district staff, board members, landowners, and community partners remains instrumental in advancing Maryland’s conservation goals and fostering a lasting culture of stewardship.
